Spring Nails

Hey guys, I am extremely sorry for not blogging in awhile I have been very busy but let's get on with the blog. Here in England the weather has been very bleach, dull and rainy but the last couple of weeks the sun has been shining and it is finally starting to feel like spring. Spring is final HERE! As you could guess from the title of the blog, I am going to share with you some of my favourite nail colours this spring! Firstly, I love pastel nails in the spring time, it is a simple transition from winter to spring and spring to summer. From Left to right: Pale blue, (Primark 'nail polish' name not on the bottle), pale pink (Accessorize name unknown) and Maybelline New York turquoise lagoon.
Spring time means you can add more adventurous colours to your outfits, so I love bright and vibrant nail colours. From left to right: Collection 2000 hot looks 'sherbet lemon', Collection 2000 hot looks tutti fruity and royal blue Primark nail polish.
Finally, I love to add a little bit of sparkle to my nails in the spring because the sun reflects on the glitter in the polish. the glitter polishes can be worn as the only colour or add on top of a base colour. From left to right: Rimmel London 500 disco ball, Rimmel London space dust 004 luna love.
The two blue Primark nail polishes came in a set of 4 and I cannot remember the prices of the nail polishes sorry! Thankyou for reading x

DIY Motivation Board

Hey, February is that time of month where everyone has given up on their new year resolutions, I know its hard to keep it up but if you are like me and one of your resolutions was to be healthier then I have a little something that will help you to keep going. This is a quick, cheap and simple DIY to get yourself up and motivated for a healthier you. Firstly you will need the following: 1. Cork board or a large piece of card
2. Drawing pins
3. Inspirational images and quotes
4. Paper and a pen; take your pen and paper and write the following:
Now once you have lost a pound you can tally the amount you have lost to keep yourself motivated to tally the next pound. Next you need to lay the images on your paper or cork board to see where you would like each to go. Get your drawing pins and pin down all the images and other features down on to your cork board, if you are using the piece of card stick them down with glue.
Finally put the board where ever you are going to see it everyday, I have put mine on the back of my door so I will see it everyday when I leave my room. I hope this helps inspire you to keep going and not to give up on your resolutions.

Rimmel London stay matte powder review

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hi I know last week I did a review on Rimmel London's wake me up foundation. Personally I think that the perfect accompaniment for the product is Rimmel London stay matte powder, it is perfect for setting your foundation and concealer to keep looking fabulous all day.
I have been using this product for nearly a year and a half and I haven't found a better product than this one. The reason I love this product so much is because it takes away the shine that I personally don't like for an everyday look. This product comes in 7 different shades; I usually get warm beige and transparent, you can buy this product from any store for £3.99 which is super cheap.

This is warm beige as i have ran out of transparent and I need to get a new one; it looks darker than it is when you apply it to your face. Recently Rimmel added their logo on to the powder as you can see, I like this feature because it makes the product look less basic. However I didn't want to use it because I don't want to ruin it.
I don't really like the packaging because its too basic and bare and it needs a bit f colour and pattern to make it look more cute and girly.
Overall i can honestly say this is my favorite high street makeup product, this is just my personal opinion thank-you for reading!

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation Review

Hi, recently i needed a new high street foundation and I have seen a lot of positive reviews on Rimmel London's wake me up foundation. So i thought i would do a review myself, I have been using this foundation for a week now. I can honestly say i am in love with it and its better than the previous foundations I have purchased!

Firstly the packaging isn't my favorite because its very vague and I love pretty and girly makeup packaging. However i do love the orange colour because it is bright and it is easy to find in my makeup bag. There are 6 shades, available and I have the shade 103 true ivory. I tried soft beige when I was in the store but I found it was slightly to dark for me; I think that the 103 true ivory is a perfect match for my skin tone. The foundation isn't matte but it isn't a shinny foundation and i'm not a fan of shinny foundation for an everyday makeup look. It has a slight glow to it, which gives you a healthy and radiant glow. It is a liquid foundation so it is easy to apply to your skin using a brush or your fingers. Personally i think that £8.99 for foundation is reasonable if you wear it everyday, but i don't wear foundation everyday as I only wear it on days when i need good coverage but I was happy to pay the price because I have seen good reviews about the product.

I think that this foundation has a great coverage for me, I do have bad skin and this foundation covers my imperfections on my face. This foundation also last all day long, but you must put a powder on afterwards to set the foundation, I use Rimmel London stay matte powder and this is another fantastic Rimmel product.

   Before

After: just the foundation, no concealer or powder

Thanks for reading i'll be trying to post every week hope you enjoyed this blog. This is just my opinion on the product and i know not everyone will love it.

Being positive

Hi for me I find it very difficult to be positive but I do try my best.
Firstly you have to have the right mind set, if you keep telling yourself you can't do something or saying negative things you need to STOP! You will find it hard to be positive if you believe in negativity. Secondly eat right, foods high in fat and sugar will make you feel rubbish and feeling rubbish isn't going to encourage you to be positive. Thirdly be around positivity, wether the positivity comes from people, music or something you enjoy doing. If you surrond yourselfwith  positivity you will feel so much more happy and comfortable with yourself and others. Finally This is just what I do to stay positive see you soon!
